2019 VCE Study Camp for Meadow Fair Boys Campus

First ever VCE Study Camp for Meadow Fair was held between the 6th to the 10th of October, at the prestigious Edmund Rice Centre ‘Amberley’, built in the late 1920’s. It is a Retreat and Conference Venue which is situated on a bend of Melbourne’s Yarra River in Lower Plenty overlooking the Dandenong Ranges.

The camp was run for all year 11 & year 12 students. All VCE teachers attended and most stayed overnight to contribute to the rich study program that was comprehensive in its depth and breadth. Timetabled to start from 8:30 am and culminating with lights out at 11:30 pm, it was a rich and varied 15 hour long daily program. It encompassed our students study needs so close to the exams, with many a trial exam paper along with study plans, and Q&A sessions to make sure everything conceivable was covered. We also factored in their physical requirements, along with a sprinkling of voluntary pastoral care activities, not to mention the rich menu of home baked breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

We hope to see the benefits of this inaugural VCE Study Camp for our campus reflected in the study scores of our students in the weeks to come so all the best with the exams to all our VCE students, families & Staff.
